Halotherapy

The heated Himalayan salt bricks provide a relaxing, almost ski-lodge like ambiance for your treatment.

Halotherapy Explained

Salt is vital to your cellular function. It is a natural antihistamine and contains powerful antiseptic properties. Halotherapy (also called salt therapy) has been widely used since the 12th century to treat a long list of physical and mental ailments.

The Halogenerator in our Halotherapy Room grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt into microscopic particles and releases them into the air. Once inhaled, these salt particles have a potent cleansing effect on the lungs.

The salt particles convert positive ions into negative ions, which is vital in strengthening the body’s immune system and has a positive effect on the respiratory system and skin ailments.

Here are just a few of the many reported benefits of Halotherapy

Halotherapy The Evidence

In clinical trials, Halotherapy has proven to be effective in relieving symptoms of a variety of respiratory and skin ailments. During one of the clinical trials, Halotherapy resulted in improvement of the clinical state in:

  • 85% of mild and moderate asthma cases
  • 75% of severe asthma cases
  • 97% of chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis and cystic fibrosis cases
